Pre-Wedding cocktail - Thursday May 25, 7pm onwards, Cucumber restaurant
- Similar to a rehersal dinner, this is a night to meet other people who will be at the wedding. We will enjoy a nice evening on a terrace (weather permitting).
Walking tour - Friday May 26, 4pm - Retiro Park
- Meet at Monumento Martinez Campos inside the park
- The bride & groom will guide this tour through the city.
Wedding day - Saturday May 27, 5pm - Finca Basseri Etxemendi (San Agustín de Guadalix)
- buses will be leaving ar the following times. Please arrive about 10 min before departure:
- Torre Garden hotel: 3:45pm
- Hotel H10 Alcala: 3:30pm
- Plaza Castilla (in front of the water tower): 3:45pm

We'll have some tapas and drinks on a nice patio in the city center.
Meet us at Cucumber restaurant, C/ de San Ernesto, 10 (close to Concha Espina metro station).
Dress casual chic, with comfy shoes as this is a cocktail-style event.
For guests coming from out of town, here are some hotels we suggest. We've selected these sites because they are in areas well connected to transportation and/or scheduled activities. We recommend booking well in advance to get a better rate.
Most hotels are in the Goya / Retiro neighbourhood, an area super convenient for walking, public transport, and taxis. We recommend that you do not rent a car for your stay in Madrid.
- H10 Puerta de Alcalá - Book directly on their website with promo code BODA15 for 15% off. This hotel is central, and the bride will be staying here ;)
- Hostal Narvaez & Retiro - This hostel is a simple, clean, budget option. It's a 5 min walk from the hotel above, very central. Each room has its own private bathroom with shower. They will start accepting reservations for May in January 2023.
- Torre Garden - This hotel is about 25min in public transportation from the other locations. It's a budget friendly option with generously sized rooms, in a residential neighbourhood (Luis' parents' neighbourhood) outside of downtown. Book directly on their website with promo code BODAS23 for 10% off.
- Catalonia - Very nice hotel also in the Goya neighbourhood, and a 5 min walk from the first two suggestions. Book online on their website and sign up to their members club for preferential pricing.
- Ayre Gran Hotel Colon - This hotel is not too far from the others in the Goya neighbourhood. Very nice hotel with lots of rooms available.
Madrid is a very well connected city!
- Public transportation: You can get around by metro and buses, it's safe and convenient. A single fare is 1.50€, or you can get a 10 trip pass for less than 9€. The passes can be shared by many people.
- Taxis: they are affordable, easy to find, safe. The fare from the airport to the hotels listed above is around 30€ (make sure they use the counter).
- Rideshare: Uber, Cabify, BlaBlaCar are all available.
- Airport Express : This shuttle bus will get you from the airport to the hotels we recommended (except Torre Garden) in 20 min for 5€. Get off at either Cibeles or O'Donnell.
- Walk! Madrid is a beautiful and safe city, and many areas are pedestrian only. We recommend going to the Retiro Park (similar to Central Park in NYC), and stopping at coffee shops and terraces while you walk around.
On the wedding day, you don't need to worry about transportation.
We have chartered 3 buses that will be leaving from different points in the city to bring you directly to the wedding venue (Finca Baserri, Etxemendi in San Agustin de Guadalix), where the ceremony will begin at 5pm.

To get back to the city at the end of the night, one bus will leave shortly after dinner if you want to leave a little earlier (at half past midnight) and will stop at Plaza Castilla, then Hotel H10 Alcala, and finally at Hotel TorreGarden.
There will be an additional 3 buses leaving after the party (around 3:45am), which will make the same stops.

- El punto de encuentro será en el Monumento Martinez Campos dentro del parque.
- Sofia y Luis serán los encargados de realizar el paseo por la ciudad.

Jueves 25 de mayo a las 19:00,
El punto de encuentro será Restaurante Cucumber en Calle de San Ernesto, 10 (cerca del metro de Concha Espina, linea 9).
Exactamente el evento es al lado del restaurante, en la terraza que se encuentra dentro del Parque Berlin y que ese dia estará cerrada solo para nosotros.
Para los invitados que vienen de fuera de Madrid tenemos unas recomendaciones de alojamiento para los que conseguimos descuentos. Hemos seleccionado los sitios en función de la comunicación con las actividades y medios de transporte con los que se llega a Madrid. Recomendamos hacer las reservas de los alojamientos lo antes posible para poder conseguir los mejores precios.
La mayoría de alojamientos se encuentran en el barrio de Goya / Retiro, siendo un barrio tranquilo para caminar y con muchos sitios turisticos, bien comunicado en Metro, Bus y Taxi y con cualquier servicio a disposición, incluido un Corte Ingles. Recomendamos no alquilar coche los dias que se encuentren en la ciudad.
- H10 Puerta de Alcalá - Podéis hacer la reserva directamente en la web con el código BODA15. Conseguiréis un descuento del 15%. Este Hotel es céntrico y situado al lado de la Puerta de Alcala y el Retiro. Sofia se encontrará en este Hotel.
- Hostal Narvaez & Retiro - Es un Hostal sencillo, limpio, buen precio y muy bien ubicado. Se encuentra a 5 minutos andando del Hotel anterior. Cada habitación tiene baño privado. Las reservas las aceptarán para Mayo 2023 a partir de Enero 2023.
- Torre Garden - Este Hotel se encuentra a 25 minutos en trasporte público de los dos anteriores. Metro y Bus cercanos. Es un Hotel espacioso, comodo y a buen precio. Se encuentra en un barrio residencial y muy cerca de la casa de los padres de Luis. Podéis hacer la reserva directamente en la web con el código BODAS23 y conseguiréis un descuento del 10%.
- Catalonia - Hotel agradable en la calle Goya, con muchas zonas de compras y cercano a los dos primeros alojamientos. Si reserváis en la web y os hacéis miembros del grupo Catalonia podéis obtener descuentos en los precios.
- Ayre Gran Hotel Colon - Este hotel no conseguimos descuentos pero tiene buenos precios y queda cerca del Retiro.
Madrid es una ciudad muy bien comunicada!
- Transporte público: Puedes moverte en Metro y Bus, es seguro y conveniente. Un ticket sencillo es 1.50€, tambien puedes conseguir 10 viajes por menos de 9€. El ticket de 10 viajes lo puedes compartir con varias personas.
- Taxis: Son asequibles, faciles de encontrar y seguros. La tarífa desde el aeropuerto a los hoteles es alrededor de 30€ (asegúrense de que usan el contador).
- Rideshare: Uber, Cabify, BlaBlaCar están todos disponibles.
- Airport Express : Este bus os llevara desde el aeropuerto a los hoteles recomendados (excepto Torre Garden) en 20 min por 5€. Tenéis que bajaros en las paradas de Cibeles u O'Donnell dependiendo de cual sea vuestro Hotel.
- Paseos! Madrid es una ciudad muy agradable, segura y con muchas zonas peatonales. Nosotros recomendamos ir al Parque del Retiro y pasear alrededor de los hoteles parando a tomar un cafe, un vino o una cerveza en las diferentes terrazas que vais a encontrar mientras paseais.
El dia de la boda no tienes que preocuparte por el transporte.
Habra tres buses que saldrán desde 3 puntos en la ciudad y los llevara hasta la Finca Baserri, Etxemendi en San Agustin de Guadalix donde será la boda a las 17:00.
